Ric brings an enormous depth of experience at the highest level of the industry. As the leader of the Artistic Team at the premier salon system in the Pacific Northwest, he led his team of top designers as they prepared photo shoots, organized fashion shows, and delivered education at prestigious industry events in the US and Europe. Ric’s travels have given him a worldly design perspective. However, after fifteen years in the city, he has tailored his work to Austin’s unique lifestyle – fashionable, current hair with a focus on ease of styling and respect for the individual client.

SENIOR DESIGNER & EDUCATOR

Linda’s mission is to provide you with the perfect haircut customized to your lifestyle and tailored to flatter your natural features. She loves nothing more than the moment after a transformation when she sees a client’s smile in the mirror as they see the finished product, styled to perfection and healthier than ever.

Linda’s career began in the Bay Area in California. After completing an apprenticeship and gaining 5 years of experience as a haircutting specialist, she relocated to Austin and joined Brian Charles. Her outgoing nature makes her a wonderful conversation partner as she performs her work. She is committed to staying on top of the industry trends through education and recommending the right treatments, styling tips, and home care for you.

DESIGNER

For over 20 years, Tan has been specializing in haircutting in the Austin area. His decades of experience behind the chair have allowed him to hone his technical skills and thus he can create truly customized styles for each and every guest. Tan is a big believer in caring for your hair out of the chair, and will never hesitate to educate his guests on the proper products and habits needed to keep their hair looking as beautiful as ever.

Tan knows that his passion in life is hair and having a creative outlet really brings out the best in him. He says his job is never quite done until each guest has a smile on their face before leaving his chair.

DESIGNER

Shaun comes to the Brian Charles team with over eight years of experience specializing in cutting and styling hair. Shaun’s skill has brought her various honors and awards, and her personality and sense of humor have brought her a dedicated clientele that looks to her for not only the best when it comes to their hair, but a friendly face to greet them when they arrive at her chair.

DESIGNER

Through her experience in Iran, Turkey, and now here in Texas, Leila has honed her craft and perfected the art of cutting and styling hair for over 12 years. She considers herself an artist and makes sure that every look she completes is polished, elegant, and above all, healthy. Leila’s number one goal - besides making your hair look good - is making sure it’s taken care of with the best products and hair care techniques.

JUNIOR DESIGNER

Lily is currently working her way through Brian Charles’ esteemed apprenticeship program. Lily studied at the Avenue Five Institute and had her heart set on cutting hair from day one.

Lily is always learning, growing, and looking for something to take her to the next level. She works a limited schedule on select days of the week.
